The mobilization table is designed for deep massage, mobilization, manipulation and used by physiotherapists, manual therapist , osteopaths and specialists of sportive massage. It supports to the doctor perform manipulations more easily. Restoration of mobility can be carried out in 3D motion using traction, flexion, lateral flexion and rotation. The table is decomposed into the main therapeutic and anatomical positions and tilts up and down.

In this position, rotation of the lower section in three planes can also be performed. The lower section tilts almost to the floor, providing convenient patient access to the table. The head section allows extensions, flexion, lateral flexion, traction and adjustment of height (up-down). Head and bottom sections allow for an unprecedented, soft lateral flexion.

In addition, the table has a unique tilt function that allows to place patients on the table with the most serious back problems directly from the standing position. The ability to make movement in three planes makes mobilization in the thoracic area truly unique. The doctor does not need to lift the patient or move it much easier and painless. As a result, pauses between procedures are reduced and treatment is faster.

A run analysis is made at our institute using an optical system that can capture any movement with high accuracy. We support the comprehensive approach to running therefore when analyzing we consider the functioning of the whole organism. After a biomechanical analysis a visual model turns into a graphic report with a number of key parameters for an ideal running technique such as rotation of the hips, knee angle, ankle flexion and contact with the ground. The report also includes a training program to strengthen certain muscles and the posture that will help improve the running technique.
Motion Capture Technology is ideal for a wide range of sports applications in research, rehabilitation, physical education and practice. Physical limitations and motion optimization are of great interest for athletes, trainers, researchers and physicians. Motion capture helps us learn more about mechanisms and prevention of traumas. It can also be used to improve the athlete technique to achieve better results in different sports. It is an accurate and reliable technology providing high accuracy real-time optical motion capture and further digital processing in 3D-modeling and animation programs. It is particularly efficient for research in biomechanics, clinical and experimental medicine, biology where information about movements of a person needs to be registered and digitalized to create virtual reality systems. Flexibly configurable according to the user tasks, the system produced by Qualisys AB (Sweden) contains a set of high-speed specialized cameras, facilities for fixed and mobile positioning of cameras, marker and calibration systems as well as powerful specialized software. The unique flexibility and portability of the system make it possible to install the equipment easily and transport it to any sports venue. Fully unbiased, quantitative data can be received to calculate joint angles, acceleration, moments, force, flexibility, deformations, body position, balance and other parameters.

Using self-adhesive tape, spherical reflective markers are fixed in some anatomic fixed points on the patient’s skin according to the relevant protocols. Infrared cameras record the movement of the markers in space: as a result, three-dimensional reconstruction of the movement of every segment of the body is recorded. The received data is processed by special software and a report is made. The report is analyzed thoroughly by qualified specialists, a medical opinion is given; a diagnosis is made and adequate medical and pedagogic recommendations are given.

Jumping technique is analyzed with the Qualisys optical system. Several types of jumping are considered: running jump, sideways jump, backward jump, standing jump, jump from a platform with landing to a lower level, jump over a bar. Force vectors arising at the moment of jumping off are analyzed; therefore, there is a possibility to evaluate the head start and force characteristics of muscles participating in the jump. High accuracy of motion capture makes it possible to determine the rise of the centre of gravity of the athlete and the physical height over the point of jumping off. When analyzing we consider the functioning of the whole organism and a visual model turns into a graphic report with a number of key parameters for an ideal jumping technique such as rotation of the hips, participation of the pectoral arch, knee angle, ankle flexion and contact with the ground that will help improve the jumping technique and make the landing safe. A digital optical motion analysis helps detect changes in the posture and movements in an unbiased, accurate and non-invasive form. The objective is to assess the ability to move in space, abnormalities and the need to correct or use auxiliary facilities. A gait analysis consists in collecting kinematic, dynamic and electromyographic parameters. This service is created for patients suffering from neurologic (hemiplegia, infantile cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord injuries) and orthopedic diseases (arthritis, trauma consequences, surgeries, patients with an amputated lower extremity and disabled persons with prostheses). In particular, a gait analysis helps:

  • determine the level of functional restriction and loss of working capacity as a result of a disease, applied compensation, pathogenic mechanisms caused by this change and their development with the growth and/or aging of a person;
  • participate in the planning of treatment promoting the development of an adequate personal rehabilitation program which will be able to determine the clinical state of a patient before, during and after the program objectively and with measurable indicators;
  • in sports, receive a quantitative analysis of athletic motion to improve sports results and prevent injuries through studying preventive mechanisms of motor activity management that underlie sports movements;
  • for injured athletes, optimize the rehabilitation program and assure functional recovery before returning to sports activity;
  • assess the ergonomics of sports equipment and devices, ortheses and prostheses.

A comprehensive gait analysis can help a physician select, before the treatment, the most suitable therapy: orthopedic surgeries, botulinum toxin injections, use of ortheses or prostheses, intrathecal therapy, etc. A comparative analysis of data before and after treatment makes it possible to evaluate the results of corrective therapy, improvement.

Individual adaptation of an organism to the changes in the gas content of the inhaled air is one of the most ancient though most important problems of medicine and biology. The use of hypoxic stimulation of non-specific resistance of an organism is based on the cross adaptation concept when immunity to one extreme factor improves the immunity of an organism to a whole range of different influencing factors. Our organism keeps genetic memory about the life in a low oxygen environment and, if required, can comparatively easily adapt to hypoxia. After birth defense mechanisms gradually disappear as there is much more oxygen in our environment than inside the uterine and a child does not have to fight for it any more. Interval normobaric hypoxic training consists of the following four items:

  • “normobaric” means that the training is performed under normal atmospheric pressure of 730—760 mm Hg
  • “hypoxic” means that during a training session the patient inhales air with low oxygen content (16—9% depending on the physician’s prescription)
  • “interval” means that the hypoxic gas mixture is inhaled not continuously but with intervals when the patient breathes in normal air containing 20.9 % of oxygen (i.e. there are time-limited normoxic intervals between hypoxic effects the duration of which is approximately the same as that of hypoxic effects);
  • “training” means a process during which compensatory mechanisms of an organism are trained: physiological, biochemical systems that compensate for hypoxia, external respiration organs, blood circulation, blood formation, biochemical mechanisms of oxygen transfer and utilization in tissues and mitochondria.

Interval normobaric hypoxytherapy is a more effective and physiological, technically and economically affordable method that assures better tolerance towards different environmental factors compared to hypoxia developed in the mountains and pressure chambers. Moreover, an important advantage of normobaric hypoxia is an opportunity to individually select modes (a link about the modes) and strictly dose the hypoxic effect. Interval normobaric hypoxytherapy is considered to be a new technology, equal to state-of-the-art pharmaceutical medicines in many cases and has no adverse properties that are common in many medicines. The method totally excludes such unfavourable factors of a mountain climate as high humidity, low atmospheric pressure, seasonal temperature fluctuations, intensive solar radiation and other.
